Manchester United featured a sponsor on the back of their shirts for the first time in the club history in the Community Shield against Manchester City.
However this sponsorship will only appear during domestic cup competitions during the season and not in Premier League or Europa League matches.
The back sponsorship is part of Man United broader deal with Qualcomm subsidiary Snapdragon the new sponsors of the front of their jerseys.
This three-year partnership which could soon be extended is valued at about 75million per year according the figures provided by The Athletic.
